This is the maiden voyage of my scratch built PT Boat. Its 36" long made of balsa wood with a coat of resin & hand painted camouflage. Handling was a bit off, possibly a result of oversized control surfaces; otherwise it was fast, responsive and an exhilarating ride.

HMS OCELOT (74" rc model). Demo of the model diving in Canoe Lake Portsmouth The model dives by an air pump taking air from a central ballast tank and allowing water in. The sub surfaces by blowing the air back into the tank forcing the water back out. Working radar and lights are also fitted and switch off when the front planes are lowered ready to dive. This model is featured in the book 'simply submarines' and was originally built over a period of 18 months by master model maker Alan Poole and completed in 1996. This model won Alan the 'Maritime Award' amongst others due to its high level of acuracy and attention to fine detail.

Video of my challenger 1 RC tank. 1:10 scale. Unique model made from brass and steel by army apprentices in 1981 as a pre production demonstrator model at the Royal Ordnance Factory Barnbow in Leeds. I have spent almost a year refurbishing it back to its former glory. The model is precision machined with gyro stabilised turret, working hydraulic suspension, it even has a working miniature rotating beacon, headlights and brake lights.
