Hobbyking's Genesis Offshore boat is a really pretty boat with its 41 inch double hull and spacious inner design for ease of component installation. I got the hull with motor preinstalled on sale for $149.00, the ESC for 49.00. Already had the rest of the components needed. Problems from the start. Yea, the esc was inexpensive but man! first you will need the program card and then it could not use all the functions. The Castle ESC I would have liked to use costs nearly $300.00 Hmmmm, maybe you get what you pay for?? This is the "Hydro Prop", my homemade rc boat made from 3 coke bottles and junk Lama V3 rc helicopter parts. For a boat made out of garbage, she sure does perform! I made a new rudder for it this year and took it for a test float out in the North Rolling Fk River, where Kedron Rd bridge passes over, just outside of Gravel Switch in Marion County Ky. We've had heavy rains lately and the river has been flooded and is just now starting to get back to normal, even though it's still higher and much stronger than normal.
