This is a model of the famous Cigarette offshore powerboat. This is based on the SHG glassfibre hull and is fitted with an OPS 3.5 (FIRE), with OPS silenced pipe , mounted on a 2:1 reduction gearbox mated to a secondary gearbox to provide contra-rotation to the 2 propellors. Props are surface piercing from propshop. Apologies for side ways video - its hard to video on a camera phone and operator transmiter. It was also very windy, hence significant wind noise.
